The Credibly Closed business owners, Lindsay and Meleah, met in September 2018 at their real estate brokerage. Lindsay was a newer agent and Meleah was serving as Lindsay’s mentor in the business. The two quickly formed a bond, realizing their visions on how to handle business were very similar. Lindsay and Meleah both cared deeply about the client’s experience and wanted to ensure each client understood what was happening along every step of the way and that they felt comfortable throughout the process. Quality over quantity was always at the top of mind!
In the spring of 2021 after being licensed for a couple of years, Lindsay accepted a position as a transaction coordinator with a top producing brokerage. This is where she gained an extensive amount of real estate knowledge and where she found her passion for being able to assist both the agent and the clients at the same time. A year later, Lindsay moved to Charlotte, NC to spearhead an expansion team for her brokerage. Lindsay was working in real estate as both an agent and transaction coordinator and would still call Meleah from time to time to chat about real estate scenarios, ask questions and get advice. As a seasoned realtor, Meleah was familiar with the unexpected, challenging situations and was always able to assist in the correct way.
Lindsay moved back to Wilmington in 2023 and after many extensive conversations and brainstorming meetings, the duo finally decided to start a business doing what they loved– Transaction Coordination! Thus, Credibly Closed LLC. was formed! Meleah and Lindsay both realized they LOVE real estate and thrive in the world of contracts, paperwork and organization. They have harnessed those skills and are now sharing them with real estate agents across the region, taking the transactions into their own hands and making the Contract to Close process easy for agents.

Meleah Boyd
Meleah Boyd was born and raised in a small town called Claremont, located in western North Carolina. With her small town upbringing, she learned the importance of God, family and hard work.
Meleah moved across the state to attend school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she majored in Communication Studies and graduated at the top of her class. Meleah’s undergraduate degree consisted of extensive communication based research. She collaborated with one of her professors on a study that was published and featured in Time Magazine before graduating. Meleah also pursued an internship in Real Estate during her time at UNCW and decided to obtain her real estate license directly after graduation.
Meleah has now been a licensed NC Real Estate Agent since July 2016 and has gained experience in Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Accounting and Real Estate Transaction Coordination– which is where she found her true passion.
Meleah is highly knowledgeable about the local real estate markets and has always been fascinated with staying up to date on the latest rules, regulations, forms and changes throughout the real estate industry. She also has a strong moral compass and insists on treating people fairly and always doing business the right way.
Strangely, Meleah admittedly LOVES paperwork and contracts! Those facts, along with her attention to detail and organizational skills will make Meleah the perfect fit to be your trusted Transaction Coordinator.
In her free time, Meleah loves spending time with her husband, Aric, and their two pups, Hank and Everest! She and her husband enjoy traveling to new places where they can hike or enjoy an adventure, like ziplining or paddle boarding! Meleah loves music– Kenny Chesney, The Revivalists and Taylor Swift are among her top favorite artists! Meleah is also an avid runner who has completed several half marathons, with more on the horizon.

Lindsay Johnson was born in Wilmington, NC but spent most of her life in the small town of New Bern, NC.Shortly after high school, Lindsay decided to move back to her hometown where most of her family still resides. She quickly realized that real estate was the career she wanted to pursue and obtained her license in May of 2018.
Two years after becoming licensed, Lindsay took her experience and real estate knowledge and found her true passion– transaction coordination. She joined a top producing real estate team and helped the agents get their clients to closing with ease. This position taught Lindsay that real estate is ever changing and every transaction can (and will) be different. Lindsay became knowledgeable in all facets of the real estate industry, including: land, development, residential and even some commercial sales. Merging her transaction coordination skills with her role as Director of Operations enabled her to push and help agents to be informed, up to date on the latest rules, regulations, and form changes, but most of all provide the agents she worked for the time to generate more business.
Lindsay’s organizational and customer service skills, along with her belief that doing the right thing at all costs is the most important thing in business is what sets her apart. With Lindsay as your transaction coordinator, you can ensure your files are completed the correct way and in a timely manner but most importantly, your clients are always happy and informed.
When Lindsay is not doing all things real estate, you can find her relaxing on the beach or enjoying the mountains. Lindsay loves running, reading, and spending time with her loved ones and her two pups, Hazel and Ozzy.
